Burning Desire

Saw this by way of Abisha and thought it was worth posting. The energy drink company Burn seems to be doing things right when it comes to cinema and so we clap for them. The film captures that burning desire skateboarders have to “RIDE”. Directed by: Garth Davis.

Redhead Apartheid

What sounds like Lo @hrtsrevolution is really @_M_I_A_ “Born Free”. Director Romain Gavras does it again! This video really captures South African Apartheid back in the 1980′s and M.I.A’s childhood experience of political violence in Sri Lanka, but uses Redhead caucasians as the oppressed minority.

Logorama

Amazing!!! The amount of thought that must have gone into this short film is mind blowing. Can’t believe how many brands got screentime. There is no way they asked for trademark clearance for all those logos. Film called “Logorama” by H5 (François Alaux, Herve de Crecy)

Uff Stuff

So we posted this interview about two years ago and apparently artist Ke$ha thought Uffie’s hiatus was the perfect opportunity to bite the Uff Stuff. When hearing Ke$ha’s song “Tik Tok” not to be mistaken by Uffie’s “Pop The Glock” on MTV we thought Uffie finally made it from the underground scene, boy were we wrong. We will just let Sarah Morrison tell it like we see it.

I’m Still Alive

Can’t count the amount of times we held back from posting this, but like Sade it’s all about timing. The patriotic beat in this song still overpowers the many Rap Artists attempts to remix it, maybe Mos Def or Busta Rhymes are better suited MC’s. Anyway after being in hiatus for a decade she proves that she’s lost the use of her heart, but is still alive with this video for the song “Soldier of Love” enjoy.
